London Town Mews House

Sector: Architectural+5
Product: Low Iron

Project outline

T4 were commissioned by Benbow Group to produce the structural glass for this stunning reception area in a London Mews Town House. The use of glass in the design has been chosen to allow as much natural light as possible to flood through the multiple floors including the basement.

Requirement & solution

For this project T4 worked with Benbow to manufacture the 19mm low iron CNC shaped glass balustrades and the 33mm laminated glass stair treads and floor panels.  The treads and floor panels were then enhanced with a Sandblast and Ritec finish which helped traction and modesty but still allowed light to flood in the reception area.

Benefit

The use of glass in as  many locations as possible including the stair treads opens up the space, creates a contemporary feel, whilst remaining durable and simple to clean & maintain.
